Public transport

Check Transport for London (TFL) for the most up-to-date information on how to get to Parliament.


Westminster is the nearest station (District, Circle, and Jubilee lines).


Victoria, Charing Cross, and Waterloo stations are all about a 20-minute walk.


The 3, 11, 12, 24, 53, 87, 88, 148, 159, 211, and 453 buses all stop near Parliament Square or Westminster Station.


Visitors cannot bring bicycles into Parliament. The nearest bike racks are on Abingdon Street.

There are Santander Cycle docking stations on Abingdon Green, opposite Victoria Tower Gardens, and in Smith Square, a 5-minute walk from Parliament.


Coaches can drop off and pick up on Abingdon Street, near Victoria Tower Gardens. Coach parking is not available.

There are coach parking bays in Westminster, available on an hourly tariff.


There is an underground car park opposite the Houses of Parliament operated by QPark.

There are blue badge parking spaces in Great Peter Street, Smith Square, and Matthew Parker Street.


The nearest pier is Westminster Pier.
