Most problems with questions can be easily resolved by talking to the Table Office
If you’re not sure why there’s a problem with your question, you or your staff should talk to the Table Office. You can read the rules in Erskine May, or an overview of the rules in this guide, but usually it's easier for the Table Office to explain the issue with specific questions in person or over the phone. They can suggest different ways of approaching an issue.
Although there are some things that questions can't be used for, in many cases you will be able to ask a question that is similar to the one you had in mind.
You or your staff are also welcome to discuss a particular question with the Table Office before you submit it.
